Responsibilities for Back End Developer
Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
Main focus on coding and debugging
Collaborate with Front-end developers
Define and communicate technical and design requirements
Provide training, help, and support to other team members
Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
Learn about new technologies
Stay up to date with current best practices
Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and system administrators.
Qualifications and Skills for Back End Developer
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Back-end developer.
5+ years experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or equivalent).
3-5 years of expert-level HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience.
3+ years of CMS framework and jQuery experience.
3+ plus years of work experience with front-end languages such as HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
Proficient in accessibility and server compliance
Server-side experience with SASS and LESS
Previous experience working with multiple platforms such as Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, etc.
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in order to meet goals without management oversight
Invested in performance testing and website optimizations.
